Payment periods: twelve 30-day renewals cover 360 days. We label them that way rather than calling the total a full year.

14 checked plans match

Ordered by billing type: 30-day, calendar-month, then prepaid. Within each type, comparison cost increases. These periods are different lengths.

EE network · Rolling plan

Talk Home Mobile · 5 GB MSE new-customer plan

5 GB · eSIM: no

£3.15 every 30 days

Minimum cost for the first 30 days£3.15

12 renewals / 360 days at the checked rate: £37.80

Our take: Looks good, but…

£3.15 buys 5 GB for 30 days on EE's host network, with free physical-SIM delivery and no long minimum term. A useful low-spend option if you mainly use Wi-Fi and do not need a hotspot.

The catch

New customers only: activate within 30 days. The offer terms restrict tethering, roaming data is capped at 2 GB, and ‘unlimited’ calls/texts have 3,000-minute and 3,000-SMS limits. Twelve renewals cost £37.80 at the checked rate and cover 360 days, not a calendar year; future renewal prices can change with notice.

Full schedule, terms and sources

Price changes: The offer page says the £3.15 rate continues for the plan's duration, but also reserves the right to amend or withdraw the offer with reasonable notice. General terms require notice of renewal-price changes. No scheduled increase is listed; the comparison assumes the checked rate continues, not a fixed-price annual contract.

Speed: No numeric speed cap confirmed; the general terms allow traffic management during busy periods

Who can get it: New customers only who have not previously redeemed a discounted or new-user offer. Order through this exact provider offer page and activate within 30 days of ordering. Personal handset use only; the offer terms restrict tethering and non-handset use.

Roaming: 2 GB in the listed EU/EEA destinations, plus Australia, San Marino and Ukraine. Activate the SIM in the UK first. Usage above the cap is charged at standard roaming rates.

Lyca Mobile · National Plus 30 GB 30-day plan

30 GB · eSIM: yes

£5 every 30 days for the first payment, then £10 every 30 days (payments 2–12)

Minimum cost for the first 30 days£5

12 renewals / 360 days: £115

Our take: Looks good, but…

The first 30 days cost £5 for 30 GB, unlimited UK calls and texts, 5G, eSIM and useful international allowances. From the second 30-day period it is £10.

The catch

The £5 price is only for the first 30 days and only for eligible online new customers. Twelve renewals cost £115 over 360 days. The offer terms restrict tethering and non-handset use; the promotion is stated to end on 30 September 2026.

Full schedule, terms and sources

Price changes: No scheduled annual rise is stated for this 30-day PAYG plan. Lyca Mobile's terms permit charge changes, normally with at least one month's notice; some changes give the right to cancel

Speed: No plan-specific speed cap was stated on the checked listing

Who can get it: Online new customers only; not available in store or to previous customers porting back with the same number; one offer per mobile number; activation is required within 30 days of ordering

100 GB · eSIM: no

£10 every 30 days

Minimum cost for the first 30 days£10

12 renewals / 360 days: £120

Our take: Looks good, but…

£10 per 30 days for 100 GB on the EE host network is straightforward, and there is no long minimum term.

The catch

The offer terms restrict tethering and non-handset use. ‘Unlimited’ UK calls and texts have 3,000-minute and 3,000-SMS acceptable-use limits. Twelve renewals cover 360 days, not a calendar year, and later prices can change with notice. Use the exact offer link: it was absent from the main plan grid during this check.

Full schedule, terms and sources

Price changes: No fixed rise is promised; the provider can change a future renewal price with notice before purchase or renewal

Who can get it: Public direct-link plan; cancel before renewal to stop the next 30-day payment, and activate the SIM in the UK before using included roaming

VOXI · 60 GB with Unlimited Social Media

60 GB · eSIM: yes

£10 every 30 days

Minimum cost for the first 30 days£10

12 renewals / 360 days: £120

Our take: Looks good, but…

£10 every 30 days gets 60 GB, eSIM and unlimited data for supported social apps in the UK, with no fixed commitment.

The catch

The allowance drops to 20 GB after 30 September. European roaming needs a paid pass, and app exclusions or having no general data left can stop zero-rating.

Full schedule, terms and sources

Price changes: VOXI says the £10 monthly price is locked; the promotional allowance reverts from 60 GB to 20 GB after 30 September 2026

Mozillion · 3 GB one-month rolling plan

3 GB · eSIM: yes

£4.95 a calendar month

Minimum cost for the first month£4.95

Twelve calendar-month payments: £59.40

Our take: Looks good, but…

£4.95 a calendar month buys 3 GB, unlimited UK calls and texts, uncapped 5G stated and a one-month commitment.

The catch

European roaming data is only 750 MB, cancellation needs 30 days' notice and any shopping rewards are conditional, so the guaranteed price remains £4.95 a month.

Full schedule, terms and sources

Price changes: No scheduled rise is stated. Mozillion's terms allow later contractual changes with at least one month's notice and any applicable right to leave

Speed: Mozillion states uncapped 4G and 5G speeds; actual speed depends on coverage, device and network demand

Listed by Uswitch

£2 a calendar month for the first 3 payments, then £8 a calendar month (payments 4–12)

Minimum cost over 12 months£78

Guaranteed 12-month cost before conditional extras: £78

Our take: Looks good

The fixed schedule totals £78 across the full 12-month term, with the first three payments reduced to £2 and no in-term annual rise.

The catch

You are committed for 12 months, and this route is not for existing-customer upgrades. The Apple trials are conditional extras and do not reduce the guaranteed £78 total.

Full schedule, terms and sources

Price changes: No annual price rise during the minimum term

Who can get it: Public Uswitch offer; existing customers cannot use this route to upgrade

Roaming: The exact Uswitch listing states 30 GB in 50 destinations. iD's fair-use page currently waives the standard 30 GB cap until further notice, allowing the full UK allowance in its Roam Free destinations. SMARTY · 32 GB promotional one-month plan

32 GB · eSIM: yes

£8 a calendar month

Minimum cost for the first month£8

Twelve calendar-month payments: £96

Our take: Looks good

£8 a month currently gets 32 GB, unlimited UK calls and texts, eSIM and a one-month commitment without a scheduled annual rise.

The catch

Join by 9 November and keep the base plan renewing on time to retain the extra 16 GB for up to 15 months. EU roaming data is capped at 12 GB per plan month, and the service has no 2G or 3G fallback.

Full schedule, terms and sources

Price changes: No scheduled annual rise. The promotional allowance reverts from 32 GB to 16 GB after up to 15 consecutive months; SMARTY can change plan prices under its terms and gives at least 30 days' notice when it believes a change creates a right to terminate

Who can get it: Join or switch to the eligible 16 GB base plan by 23:59 on 9 November 2026 and keep it renewing on time to receive 32 GB for up to 15 consecutive months; UK residents aged 16 or over

O2 network · Rolling plan

giffgaff · Student 100 GB monthly rolling plan

100 GB · eSIM: not confirmed

£10 a calendar month

Minimum cost for the first month£10

First 12 calendar-month payments: £120

Our take: Looks good, but…

Eligible students get 100 GB for £10 on a one-month rolling plan, so twelve calendar-month payments come to £120 without a long contract.

The catch

You must be an eligible UK student over 18, keep auto-renew on and retain the qualifying route. EU roaming is capped at 5 GB, and the 100 GB allowance is not promised after 12 months.

Full schedule, terms and sources

Price changes: £10 per calendar month for the 12-month benefit period. After that, giffgaff may move the member to a plan at an equivalent price, but does not promise the same data allowance.

Who can get it: New or existing giffgaff members who live in the UK, are over 18 and qualify through a valid .ac.uk student email address or an eligible student SIM pack; the plan must be activated by 4 August 2027 and kept on auto-renew for the promotional allowance

SMARTY · 40 GB one-month plan

40 GB · eSIM: yes

£10 a calendar month

Minimum cost for the first month£10

Twelve calendar-month payments: £120

Our take: Looks good

£10 a month for 40 GB, unlimited UK calls and texts, eSIM and a one-month commitment is a useful step up from SMARTY's smaller plans without a scheduled annual rise.

The catch

EU roaming data is capped at 12 GB per plan month, the service has no 2G or 3G fallback, and the general terms still allow later plan-price changes with notice.

Full schedule, terms and sources

Our take: Looks good, but…

The full £126 eSIM purchase covers 24 monthly 100 GB allowances, with no stated in-term price rise. That allocates £5.25 to each service month, but all the money is due upfront.

The catch

The full £126 must be paid upfront for eSIM. A physical SIM costs £129.49 including delivery. The £63 twelve-month allocation is only a comparison figure, not a price you can pay.
