What we are here to do

We check outright phone prices and SIM-only plans, do the sums, read the awkward bits and share the ones we think are worth your time. Buying separately is often better value and more flexible than a combined handset contract, so that is our focus. An unusually strong contract deal may still earn a mention if the full calculation proves it.

“We” means Phone Deals UK as a checking and comparison service. It does not mean a fictional reviewer personally used every phone. Our model pages are source-backed spec and price assessments, not hands-on reviews unless explicitly labelled otherwise.

Helpful before commercial

Some links can earn commission; many do not. The same checking rules and natural ranking apply to both, and every commercial link is labelled beside the action.

Still early

The catalogue is growing as useful phones and genuinely checked deals appear. We publish current prices with clear checked times, hide them from live lists when they age out and keep selected expired offers as dated deal history on the exact phone record. That history can span retailers, but it is not a claim that we watched the whole market continuously.
